Shannon is a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of Ohio. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Shannon is a current Master’s in social work student at The Ohio State University where he is working towards becoming independently licensed. Shannon has his Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA). He is a member of National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

 

Shannon believes that his non-traditional path to the field of social work and life experiences in the skin he embodies give him a unique perspective to assist those with their healing journey. He describes himself as relatable, non-judgmental, compassionate and empathetic. His professional interests are working with people of color, persons that experience challenges with substances, self-esteem, communication, boundaries, overthinking that may be impacted by their past.
