Ms. Moon obtained a Master’s degree in Counselor Education from The University of Dayton.  She is credentialed by the Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board as a Licensed Professional Counselor.  Ms. Moon has extensive training and experience working with at-risk youth and children and families in pre/post adoption situations.

Ms. Moon has over 25 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings.  She began her experience working with teens in residential treatment which later led her to furthering her career working in Franklin County Juvenile Court systems. In addition, Ms. Moon ran local group home for at-risk children in Franklin county, she currently she coordinates services for children with Developmental Disabilities.

Ms Moon uses a combination of theoretical orientations, tailored to meet the needs of the clients she serves.  She has been described as being compassionate, empathic, and determined.  Ms. Moon enjoys assisting clients in need gain skills and abilities that they can incorporate in their daily lives.
